You’re that friend that everyone turns to with their broken items – if you can’t repair it, no one can. Sound familiar? Yep, you’re a maintenance engineer.
When you’re not fixing things as favours, do you ever take the time to think about the next step in your career? Fancy working on a single site? Like the idea of being involved in projects? New machinery, capital investment – a new site? Sounds great doesn’t it? I have gotten a little carried away though – you won’t start the role at our new site or with new machines, as it’s a live project, still in the planning stages. To begin with, you’ll work on our existing food manufacturing site in Irthlingborough. At a core level, your role will be to react to the needs of the production facility, maintaining their machinery to ensure uninterrupted service. However, there is also a regular schedule of PPM and CI improvements.
You do need a minimum level of qualification and experience for this role – you’ll have served a recognised electrical or mechanical apprenticeship with the associated qualifications.
Night shift, 4 on, 4 off, 7pm – 7am
Monday – Friday – PPM
Salary: Dependent on shift option – please enquire.
