We have an opportunity for a Maintenance Manager to join our team base in Irthlingborough on a full time, permanent basis. Core working hours will be Monday – Friday 9am-5pm however some weekends and nights may be required to meet and support need of the team.

About the Maintenance Manager role
In this role, your people and the machinery they are responsible for will be your key asset. Our people are really important to us, so they’ll be really important to you too. We’ll give your four shift teams the physical tools they need to carry out their job, but you’ll need to support your team to ensure they develop and grow their skills. Through your coaching and support, you’ll empower them to deliver outstanding service to our business. Your extensive engineering background in the food industry will steer your decision making.
What you will be doing;
On a day to day basis, your team’s challenge is to maximise plant uptime by ensuring the effective application of good engineering practices. When downtime occurs, you’ll analyse failures to root cause using the application of lean techniques such as RCM/TPM/FMEA, to change what happens next time.

Our ideal Maintenance Manager will have the below skills and experience:
– You should have an extensive engineering background in the food industry
– Good influencing and communication skills
– Knowledge of lean techniques such as RCM/TPM/FMEA
– Ability to work well as part of a team
– Project Management skills
– Organisational and People Management Skills
– Experienced in Change Management
– Strong Technical skill set
