Brazilian Beans on Toast

  • 1 garlic, grated
  • 2 tbsp vegan butter (room temperature)
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 5g fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 thick slices of sourdough bread
  • To serve: 1 pouch Whitworths Protein by Nature Brazilian smoky Beans

Ready… Steady… Bake…

  • Place a heavy bottomed frying pan over a medium heat
  • While the pan is heating up, mix together the grated garlic, butter, cayenne pepper and chopped parsley in a small bowl
  • Spread over your slices of bread on both sides
  • Place them in the hot pan and toast for 1 – 2 minutes either side
  • Cook the Whitworths Protein by Nature Brazilian smoky Beans as per back of pack instructions and spoon over the toasted garlic bread
