Moroccan Grains with Wilted Spiced Greens

  • 2 Whitworths Protein By Nature Moroccan Grains
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 white onion, peeled and sliced
  • 3 garlic cloves, grated
  • 500g vegetable stock
  • 400g fresh kale or savoy cabbage, stemmed and cut
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp freshly cracked pepper
  • 1/2 tsp crushed chilli flakes
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric

READY... STEADY... COOK...

  • Add the oil to a large saucepan with the onion and garlic over medium heat. Fry until the onions are soft, approximately 5 minutes
  • Add the vegetable Stock and bring to the boil. Add the kale or cabbage and reduce the heat to a simmer. Add the smoked paprika, sugar, some freshly cracked pepper, chilli flakes and turmeric
  • Cook for 15 – 20 minutes, drain and serve alongside Whitworths Protein By Nature Moroccan Grains
