We’ve teamed up with @olsfood and Eatlean to bring you this sensational pan of high protein cheesy black bean goodness! This is low fat and high protein meal, as well as being extremely tasty.
2 x pouches Whitworths Protein By Nature Brazilian Smoky Beans
250ml water
2 x large handfuls Eatlean protein cheese (grated)
Preheat your oven to 180c.
Heat the olive oil in a large non-stick casserole dish over a medium heat and gently fry the onion with a pinch of salt for 5-6 minutes until softened.
Add the garlic and fry for a further 2 minutes.
Add the smoked paprika and cumin and fry for 1 minute, stirring.
Stir in the tomato purée then add the pouches of beans and stir to combine
Add the water and allow to bubble away over a gentle heat for 10 mins until thickened. You may want to add a splash more water
Top with the cheese, then bake in the oven until the cheese has melted. Serve with nachos or your favourite dunker!
