No Bake Festive Chocolate Bites

  • For base -
  • 100g Whitworths Walnuts
  • 100g almonds
  • 100g rolled oats
  • 1 teaspoon mixed spice or cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons almond butter
  • 4 tablespoons maple syrup, honey or date nectar
  • For topping -
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons almond butter
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey
  • 50g dark chocolate
  • 2 tablespoons cacao or cocoa powder
  • To decorate -
  • Whitworths Pumpkin Seeds
  • Whitworths Chopped Dried Apricots
  • Whitworths Chopped Dates
  • Whitworths Sultanas
  • Whitworths Flaked Almonds
  • Cacao nibs
  • Freeze-dried raspberries
  • Bee pollen
  • Gold sugar sprinkles

Ready… Steady… Bake…

  • Make the base: Place the oats and nuts in a food processor and blend until broken down. Add in the mixed spice, almond butter and honey/syrup and blend again until the mixture comes together. Tip into a lined 15cm x 20cm lined tin and press down evenly using your hands. Chill while you make the topping.
  • Gently melt the topping ingredients then pour over the base and smooth over evenly.
  • Now add your sprinkles! Scatter over the top evenly to cover the chocolate. Chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours to set.
  • When ready to enjoy, pop out of the tin, cut into pieces and share with your loved one(s).
