Custard toast, also known as yogurt toast, is a TikTok breakfast trend. This banoffee pecan custard toast recipe is our creation, and it’s not to be missed this Autumn!
Place the brioche slices on a lined baking tray. Using a tablespoon, press the centre of the slices down to create an indent in the centre.
In a small bowl, mix the yoghurt, honey, salt, cinnamon, and egg together until smooth. Spoon approximately 2 tbsp into the indents – this will vary upon your bread size.
Top with your sliced banana and finish with a sprinkling of light brown sugar.
Place in the middle of the pre heated oven for 12-14 minutes until golden and the custard is just set – it will have a soft wobble in the centre.
Top each slice of bread with a toffee pecan SHOT and serve warm.
