Mocha Overnight Oats

Oats, coffee and chocolate are the best way to start the morning! So, we’ve teamed up with indie roasters Two Chimps Coffee to create this deliciously chocolatey mocha overnight oats recipe. Perfect for banishing bleary eyes in the morning!

  • 40g porridge oats
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 100g natural yoghurt or dairy - free alternative
  • 60ml strong black coffee
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey
  • Chocolate sauce , to drizzle
  • Whitworths Chocolate & Hazelnut SHOT
  1. Brew your strong coffee and leave it to cool.
  2. Grab a mason jar or small bowl with a lid and add the oats, chia seeds and cocoa powder. Stir to combine.
  3. Then pour in the coffee, maple syrup and vanilla extract and spoon in the yoghurt. Stir until well mixed.
  4. Pop the lid on and leave your oats to soak in the fridge overnight (or for at least 6 hours).
  5. The next day, stir half of your Chocolate & Hazelnut SHOT through the oaty mixture. You can add a splash of water or milk if your oats are too thick.
  6. Top with a drizzle of chocolate sauce plus the rest of your SHOT. Dive in and enjoy!
